Dr. Oliver Peltzer, LL.M. (Stellenbosch) , born 1967, qualified as a German lawyer in 1996. Oliver Peltzer joined Dabelstein & Passehl as a partner in 2008. The previous five years, Oliver Peltzer worked as head of the department for legal services and risk management of Volkswagen Logistics, the procurement company of shipping-, transport- and logistic services for the Volkswagen Group. He was responsible for the legal advice of a purchasing volume of two billion Euro.
End of 2000, he founded a company in Munich advising New economy companies on Venture capital financing and Investor relations. Within this period, he has been educated as financial analyst (CFA I and CFA II).
From 1998 to 2000, he practised for Linklaters De Bandt in Antwerp (Belgium) in shipping law and in alternative dispute resolution between Belgian and German parties. He has become a trained mediator. Oliver Peltzer is a qualified lawyer in Germany and Belgium. He completed his studies in Bonn, Paris, Berlin, and he holds an LL.M. degree from the University of Stellenbosch (South Africa) and the degree of Doctor of Laws (Dr. iur.) from the University of Tübingen.
Focus of Practice:
Oliver Peltzer advises companies on all legal aspects of international supply chains and logistics solutions. He has considerable experience in servicing the legal demands for complex supply chain management solutions and worldwide transport systems. He is a German delegate to the ICC-Commission on Transport and Logistics and he was a member of the commission of experts set up by the German Ministry of Justice in June 2004 for the reform of the German shipping law.
