Caroline Hagenberg , born 1980, was admitted to the bar in 2009. She read law at Universities of Goettingen, Geneva (Switzerland) and Munich. She obtained her First State Examination in Munich and reached a degree from the University of Geneva in International Contract Law. During her legal clerkship (Referendariat) she worked i. a. for law firms in Hamburg and the economic department of the Permanent Mission of Germany to the United Nations, New York. After finishing her Second State Examination, she completed a year of research work at the Institute of Environmental Law at the University of Hamburg, where she worked on adaptation of international sustainability standards in German environmental law. As an honorary capacity keen yachtswoman Caroline has been appointed leader of the Offshore Sailing Team of the Hamburgischer Verein Seefahrt e. V.Focus of Practice:
In January 2010 Caroline Hagenberg joined Dabelstein & Passehl as a lawyer. Her area of practice is shipping law, commercial law and international law of contract.
